New Podcast! Our Autoimmune and Healing Journeys

Until a few weeks ago, I'd never shared my full story with Celiac disease. Only those who were there in the beginning, my closest friends and family, know that I've never actually received a positive diagnosis for Celiac. In fact, I received a negative on my Celiac biopsy, and was advised by my doctor that I could “continue to eat gluten”.

So why have I been living the past 9 years as a Celiac?

I'm sharing my story through autoimmune diagnosis (or lack thereof) with you today, along with a new passion project of mine.

Introducing the Unbound Healing Podcast!

Today I’m launching a podcast with my friend Michelle, as a way to create community and share our alternative perspective on what it means to live a healthy life – especially for those struggling to feel their best or those feeling isolated by chronic illness.

It’s called Unbound Healing, and it’s for anyone who wants to learn simple shifts to live their healthiest life.

And guess what? You can listen to the very first episode of Unbound Healing below:

Click here to subscribe to the podcast on iTunes so you’re notified of new episodes. ?

In this intro podcast, you'll hear:

  • My story with struggling to get a definitive autoimmune diagnosis
  • How an unhealthy relationship was manifesting in chronic health symptoms
  • The steps I took to turn my health around
  • Michelle's story with her autoimmune thyroid disease, Hashimotos
  • Her path to acceptance of her illness
  • The steps she took to turn her health around
  • Plus, a few fun facts about each of us as the end

If you aren't familiar with podcasts, they are in essence a recorded blog post you can listen to while cooking for your family or while you're driving into work. Michelle and I will be posting a new episode each Thursday, and if you subscribe using a Podcast app like iTunes or Stitcher, you'll have these episodes waiting for you in the app without even needing to visit a website.

Here's where you can find us in your iTunes app. I'll come back and update this post when we have a link to Stitcher!

Psst… if you leave us a review, we have a present for ya!

Here’s how it works. We want to thank you for leaving a quick review for Unbound Healing on iTunes (right here!) , soooo…

Leave a review and you’ll be entered to win a $50 Amazon gift card. You have until July 7th to submit your review before we randomly select a winner. And to enter? You just need to leave a review on iTunes, and share your instagram handle with us or email us at unboundhealing@gmail.com letting us know you left a review. ? That's it!

Click here to leave a review on iTunes.

Finally, Michelle and I came together to create a community…

We want this podcast to foster a community of supportive health seekers, so we created a private Facebook group and we'd love for you to join! In this group you can continue our weekly conversations surrounding our podcast topics, ask personal questions for immediate advice, or submit a question to be answered on the podcast.

And since it's private, everything in the group stays in the group.

Your comments may show up in your news feed or in the feeds of other members, but you can feel confident in sharing your struggles knowing that no one aside from those within the community will be notified. Come join us!

We're so excited to share this free resource with you, and hope you enjoy following along just as much as we've enjoyed creating it for you. Can't wait to continue the conversation next Thursday with episode 2!
